Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • • Determine when to use the following tools to help risk stratify Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) patients presenting with Tetrology of Fallot (TOF)

• MRI mass/volume measurements

• Ventricular stimulation function test

• Cardiopulmonary exercise testing

• Develop an evidence-based management plan for patients with moderate and complex congenital heart disease.

• Recognize adults with moderate and complex congenital heart disease (CHD) who require consultation or referral to a specialty center for optimal management

• Review appropriate selection of anti-coagulation therapy for prevention of stroke in patients with congenital heart disease
