Requirements
Our Summer Administrative Internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical education administration, event planning, and project coordination. It is designed for students who want to learn about program development and administrative coordination in a medical education setting. We are seeking two undergraduate students to participate in our 2025 program.
Our 1-year Marketing and Design Internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign development within medical education. This part-time internship is ideal for students looking to develop branding, social media management, and marketing strategy skills while contributing to initiatives supporting healthcare professionals’ education.
- Paid Internship.
- Work with an assigned mentor within the team/department for day-to-day work.
- You will gain experience working within a cross-functional team and using project management tools such as Asana.
Qualifications
To be eligible for our undergraduate internship program, candidates must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s or associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
While prior healthcare experience or a specific major is not required for our general administrative internships, we are looking for individuals who demonstrate the following key skill sets:
- Problem-Solving: The ability to adapt to challenges, seek out information to identify root causes, pay close attention to detail, prioritize tasks effectively, and ask thoughtful questions.
- Communication: Strong listening skills, the ability to clarify assumptions, and the flexibility to adjust communication style based on the situation.
The Marketing and Design role is well-suited for detail-oriented and creative individuals eager to explore marketing within the healthcare education space.
We value candidates who are eager to learn, take initiative, and are committed to personal and professional growth.
Application and Selection Process
- Application: A completed application and resume are required to apply. Cover letters and letters of recommendation are not required. As part of the application process, the applicant will complete a written section of the application. We expect students not solely to rely on the input of AI or Chat GPT. Applicants will be able to indicate preference of areas the are interested in within the application. Deadline for Application: February 28, 2025.
- Screening: Applicants are selected based on their resume and application. Applicants will be required to answer questions such as listed below.
- What motivates you to pursue an internship in medical education?
- Share a situation when you encounter a problem and how you solve it.
We may ask additional questions to help us understand your interests and skills. Our intern program team may conduct further screenings to clarify points on your resume or prompts, confirm your availability, and answer your questions.
- Interviews: We may interview the top candidates virtually based on the application. Following the interviews, we make the final selections.
- Selection: Selected candidates will receive a phone call or e-mail to inform them of the decision and will be guided for the next step. Candidates who are not selected will receive an email to inform them of the decision. Mar 31, 2025: The candidate will be informed of the final decision.
