Opening Doors to the Health Professions

The next generation of physicians, PAs, and health professionals is out there, in high school classrooms, community colleges, and communities across the region. We aim to walk alongside them through every stage of their journey to medicine.

  • The Stanford Medical Youth Science Program (SMYSP) introduces high school students to medicine, research, and the health professions
  • The SUMMA Pre-Health Conference and undergraduate pathway programs connect aspiring physicians across the Northern California region to resources, mentorship, and opportunity
