Stem Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine 4th Year Fellowship in Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy
2023-2024 Applications for Pediatric STEM Transplantation & Cellular Therapy Fellowship Program
December 9, 2023
Stanford University’s Pediatric Stem Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (SCT & CCT) Fellowship Program is seeking applicants for the 2023-24 academic year. All applicants should have completed an ACGME accredited Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship program by the start of our program, being board eligible or board certified. Applicants may apply to one of the following tracks:
- The Stem Cell Transplantation (SCT) track will be a combination of both clinical and research (clinical or basic science). This tract will allow physicians to obtain FACT certification and be independent providers in cellular therapies. (One fellow)
- The Cellular Therapy (CCT) track will have an emphasis on the clinical training for patients receiving CAR T cell therapy. Fellows will receive training in the management of not only commercialized CAR T cell products, but also in the development of new investigator-initiated CAR T cell therapies. (One fellow)
This program is proud to serve as a leader in the field of SCT & CCT and works hard to maintain high levels of quality and service that patients have come to expect. Faculty have extensive knowledge and connections within the cellular therapy SCT community and are involved with cutting edge research nationally and internationally. Close collaboration with faculty in Pediatric SCT & CCT who have diverse clinical, translational and basic research interests, high patient volumes, exposure to novel cell-, gene-, and immune-based therapeutic strategies, and a close collaboration with an internationally recognized Pediatric Hem/Onc, SCT, and CCT center will prepare the fellow for a successful career in the field. The one-year program is designed to provide an incomparable, well-rounded training experience while allowing for flexibility to address the fellow’s specific goals.
The Stanford University Pediatric department has a dedicated interest in developing diversity, equity, and inclusion in their programs. All faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in DEI work, with interviewing faculty taking bias training before recruitment season.
