2nd Annual Center for Definitive and Curative Medicine (CDCM) Symposium

The newly-launched CDCM is a joint initiative of the Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children’s Health. The Center provides the organizational and physical infrastructure to support investigator-initiated clinical translational studies on stem cell and gene therapy from initial discovery through completion of clinical proof-of-concept studies. This year's symposium is sponsored by Child Health Research Institute (CHRI) and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (LPCH). The CDCM is co-directed by Drs. Maria Grazia RoncaroloAnthony Oro, and Matthew Porteus.

2nd Biennial 22q11 Deletion Syndrome Symposium

This scientific conference will bring together clinicians, basic scientists, and translational investigators to discuss the process of how discoveries in the laboratory are translated to clinical trials. Our 2017 symposium attracted over 175 attendees for the one day conference.

The 2019 Symposium will be comprised of these sessions:

1. Genetics and Molecular Mechanisms of 22q11

2. Phenotype of 22q11

3. Bench to Bedside: Brain and Behavior

4. Disease Modeling and Therapy
