Clinical Assistant Professor
Applications are invited for a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor position in the Center for Dissemination and Implementation (CDI) based in the Department of Psychiatry at Stanford. CDI consists of three federally-funded national centers focused on dissemination and implementation (D&I) research, and multiple implementation research and practice projects at health systems, state, county, and community levels. CDI's overarching mission is to get the best care possible the people who need it most. We intend to accomplish our mission by advancing and applying the science of implementation and thereby improve equitable access to the best treatments available.
This is primarily a research and academic position (80%) with a small proportion of time for clinical practice in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences outpatient clinics (20%). CDI consists of 3 national D&I centers: The Center for Dissemination and Implementation At Stanford (C-DIAS); The Research Adoption Support Center (RASC); and, the Mental Health Technology Transfer Center Network (MHTTC). The 3 centers are federally-funded, respectively, by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (P50DA05402), the National Institutes of Health Healing Addiction Long Term (HEAL) initiative (U2CDA057717), and the US Department of Health and Human Services Substance Use and Mental Health Services Administration (H79SM081726).
The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology and have a record of productivity and promise in partnering with health care organizations and generating translatable knowledge through rigorous research. Measurable success in national presentations and scientific publications is an asset. Licensure or license-elgibility as a clinical psychologist in California is required.

Project Coordinator (hiring 2 people)
Applications are invited for 4 Project Coordinator positions in the Center for Disseminationa and Implementation (CDI). CDI consists of three national centers and numerous addiction and mental health services implementation projects at national, health system, state, county, and community levels. CDI's mission is to advance the science of implementation and improve equitable access to the best treatments available for the people who need them the most.
These positions provide coordination and research support for two National Institutes of Health/National Institute on Drug Abuse-funded national Centers, the Center for Dissemination and Implementation At Stanford (C-DIAS) and the HEAL Data2Action Research Adoption Support Center (RASC). The Project Coordinators will support C-DIAS or RASC research activities. These positions are excellent opportunities to advance skills in research and scholarship, join a friendly and productive team, contribute to the greater good of public health, and engage in high visibility work that has national impact. Project Coordinator candidates are sought for an immediate start. These are hybrid positions that will require 2-3 days in office per week.
A successful candidate will have: an advanced degree in a relevant social science, public health, or related field; a desire to take initiative, solve problems, and handle substantial responsibility; strong oral and written communication skills; experience or interest in learning database management and statistical packages such as R, STATA, SPSS, etc.; substantial experience with standard software packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to successfully juggle and prioritize among multiple projects; background in mental health, substance use, or other health conditions; and background or strong interest in dissemination and implementation research. The successful candidate will manage proposal preparation and post award activities on grants, contracts, program projects, and federal grants. This individual will also work closely with the CDI director in executive related activities within Stanford and nationally. Preferred qualifications include: experience with grant and contract proposal preparation and submission processes and procedures; knowledge and experience with Stanford's School of Medicine Research Management Group; working knowledge of NIH and other federal agencies, foundation regulations and proposal requirements; strong accounting skills; excellent interpersonal/communication skills; demonstrated ability to be organized and flexible in an environment which requires continuous monitoring of priorities; highly goal oriented, self-motivated, mission-driven and able to work independently as well as in coordination with various teams; and, willingness to take on new challenges and creatively adapt to achieve goals.

Research Data Analyst
The Center for Dissemination and Implementation (CDI) within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking to hire a Research Data Analyst 1 (RDA 1) to manage and analyze large amounts of information, under the direction of investigators and researchers. The RDA 1 will be primarily responsible for database management and data analysis and will be expected to complete the following: manage, clean, and analyze data sets; prepare written reports for investigators; and communicate and write results in an understandable and effective manner.
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and responsible individual who will perform well in a collaborative setting by demonstrating initiative, being responsive to requests made by investigators, and showing competence in multi-project management. The candidate will have an array of opportunities to enrich his/her research experience and publications through collaborations with investigators in the department, who have expertise in areas such as implementation science, substance use, and mental health.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in SPSS/STATA and/or R is required, and proficiency with database management (e.g., Redcap) and data visualization software is highly desired. Individuals with some experience in building websites or in developing R/R Shiny tools will have more diverse opportunities.

Internship Opportunities
CDI is accepting interns (i.e., undergraduate/graduate/medical students, recent graduates) on a rolling basis. Learning opportunities include analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, authorship on peer-reviewed publications, coordination of national research workgroups designing mental health treatment technical assistance and trainings, and much more. While CDI internship experiences are voluntary and unpaid, we offer flexible time commitments and remote work.
