Abstract Submission Portal

Submission Deadline: Friday, January 15th, 2021

On behalf of the Chi-Li Pao USA Foundation and Stanford Center for Asian Health Research and Education (CARE), we invite you to share your research in Evidence Based Traditional Asian Medicine at our first Conference on Evidence Based Traditional Asian Medicine (ETAM), a virtual conference occurring from March 4th to 6th, 2021.

We will select winners in each specialty - Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda -  to present at the ETAM Conference. Finalists will also be invited to contribute to our post-conference white paper. 

All submissions will be featured on the conference website for viewing and will be a forum to share ideas and connect with others who share interests. We look forward to your participation and exchange of ideas.

Deadline for abstract submission: January 15,2021

Deadline for slide presentation (finalists only): February 19, 2021

Submission Criteria

  1. Submission Format: Research abstracts should be structured, at 500 words maximum. Abstracts should include the following: background, population, setting, funding source, innovation/methods, results, limitations, discussion.  No charts or tables should be included in abstract submission.
  2. Presentation Format: Abstract competition finalists will present at virtual podium for 5-minutes (with slides), with 3-minutes of Q&A. 
  3. Language: Abstract submitters must have excellent English language proficiency in case their project is chosen for Symposium presentation.

Finalists (podium presentation) and semi-finalists (featured posters) will be notified by February 1st, 2020.  Questions may be directed to Shannon Judd, CARE Program Administrator, judds@stanford.edu
