Neuroscience Supportive Care Program (NSCP)
The Neuroscience Supportive Care Program (NSCP) is a free, wellness-based program to support patients and families with a neuroscience diagnosis. We are part of the Health Education, Engagement, and Promotion department with an overarching goal of providing information, support, and services to help people be the healthiest they can be.
Our team is available for 1-on-1 phone consultations with patients and caregivers to assess which offerings are most appropriate for the patient/caregiver’s goals and abilities, and to link them with other resources/services as needed.
Our exercise programs, support groups, and workshops are offered via Zoom. Our exercise classes for neuro patients and caregivers include:
- Chair Yoga
- Healing Yoga
- Qi Gong for Vitality
- Sit and Be Fit
- Tai Chi (English AND Mandarin)
Cancer Supportive Care Program
The Cancer Supportive Care Program is a free, wellness-based program to support patients and families with a cancer diagnosis. We are part of the Stanford Medicine Patient Experience/Health Education, Engagement, and Promotion department with an overarching goal of providing individuals information, support, and services to help them be the healthiest they can be. Our programs are available virtually and include the following:
- 1:1 RN consultations with patients and their caregivers
- Mindfulness Meditation sessions
- Personalized exercise consultations
- Group exercise classes (Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, and more!)
- Connection to Caregiver Program, Health Library, Palliative Care, and support groups
- Nutrition class, chemo class, radiation therapy module
- Conversations in Supportive Care podcast series
