Body Imaging
Welcome
The Body Imaging division consists of 15 nationally and internationally renowned faculty and 11 body fellows who are specialized in the interpretation of diseases of the abdomen and pelvis, as well as additional body parts such as the thyroid, carotid, and peripheral venous system. With experts in computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, x-ray, and fluoroscopy, our division is committed to training the next generation of body radiologists while delivering cutting edge clinical care. The breadth of experience among the faculty is reflected in the wide range of academic pursuits enjoyed by the division, ranging from clinical assessment of low dose CT protocols, novel pulse sequences on MRI, ultrasound quantification of hepatic fibrosis and steatosis, contrast agents for ultrasound, medical mixed reality in fusion of patients to their medical imaging, and artificial intelligence applications in Body Imaging.
