Application Process
The Training Program in Hematopoetic Transplantation supports postdoctoral  trainees to pursue their career goal of establishing themselves as independent medical research scientists.

Stanford clinical fellows who recently completed their clinical training in Hematology/Oncology or Blood and Marrow Transplantation and would like to return to the laboratory to further their research training are encouraged to apply.

The Training program also accepts applications from PhD post-doctoral fellows associated with our faculty mentors (see below) whose research has direct relevance to our field and who have displayed an excellent record of pre-doctoral achievement.

A call for applications are announced each spring, with training slots filled by October. Applicants are asked to provide the following:

•    Current CV
•    Statement of Proposed Research
•    Letter of Support from Faculty Mentor

If you would like to apply to the training program, please contact the BMT Division Manager, Tawny Wong (tawnyw@stanford.edu) and Program Director, Wen-Kai Weng (wkweng@stanford.edu)

We welcome applications from applicants with a variety of scientific backgrounds and believe that diversity of previous experience enriches our multidisciplinary environment.
