Marianne Black appointed to Assistant Professor at UVic

September 2022.

After completing her PhD and postdoctoral work at Stanford Radiology, Dr. Marianne Black has been appointed to assistant professor at the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Her research areas will include augmented reality for health and surgery, orthopedic biomechanics, musculoskeletal quantitative medical imaging and medical device development and design.

We hope that Marianne’s return to Canada leads to a successful career!
