The Body Magnetic Resonance Imaging Research (BMR) Group develops novel acquisition and reconstruction techniques of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). We link basic science with clinical science and industrial product development in an effort to provide improved techniques for patient care. Applications are in breast MRI, abdominal MRI, musculoskeletal MRI, and MRI near metallic implants.
Our group is part of the Radiological Sciences Laboratory (RSL), Department of Radiology, School of Medicine, at Stanford University. Our students are in Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Physics, and Mechanical Engineering.
