Who should attend?

Senior executives in the health technology field with 10+ years of management experience across a wide range of departments, including in strategic planning, marketing, research & development, product development, business development, and/or marketingStrategic Planning, or Product Development; who are responsible for leading innovation efforts within their organization.

What should I expect to learn?

Participants should expect to learn a proven, systematic process for managing innovation in the health technology sector. We also believe the course will provide you with a fresh perspective and new ways of working, which you can use to inspire and mentor others within their organization.

When will the course be held?

The course will be held Wednesday, March 1 through Friday, March 3, 2017.

Where will the course be held?

“Home base” for the program will be the Arrillaga Alumni Center at the heart of the Stanford University campus. Other activities will take place at the Stanford Stadium, and a special dinner event is scheduled for Thursday night at a select off-campus venue.

How do I register?

To capitalize on the team-based, interactive nature of the course experience, companies must register a group of 6-8 people. These individuals can be from different departments within the same organization, but they will work as a team throughout the program. To initiate a group registration, please contact Gordon Saul, Executive Director of Stanford Biodesign.

What is the cost of the course?

The cost of the course is $10,500 per person for Stanford Biodesign partners and $12,500 per person for participants from all other companies. Tuition includes all course materials, meals, lodging, and local transportation between course activities. Participants must cover their own transportation to the hotel on the first day of the program and their travel home on the last day of the event.

Is early registration available? When can I register?

Stanford Biodesign partners can register now. Registration for all other companies will begin on October 1, 2016, space permitting.

May I register as an individual?

Unfortunately, companies may only register a group of 6-8 participants that will work as a team throughout the program. We are not able to accept individual registration requests at this time.

Can my company send a group that has fewer than 6-8 participants?

Over the years, we’ve found that teams of 6-8 work exceptionally well for this program. If you company is not able to send a team of this size, please contact Gordon Saul, to discuss whether an exception might be possible.

What if I prefer not to use the course lodging?

The course is designed as an intense, highly-interactive three-day experience. We strongly encourage all participants to stay at the Stanford Park Hotel during the course to maximize their opportunities for collaboration. If this is not possible, exceptions may be allowed. However, the course tuition will not be adjusted.
