Beckman Innovation Forum
Program Overview
The Beckman Innovation Forum is a quarterly gathering where Beckman faculty connect across disciplines over an informal lunch and a research presentation, sparking unplanned conversations that often lead to new collaborations. Presenters come from every academic area and career stage, reflecting the forum's belief that valuable insight can emerge from any corner of Beckman. Each presenter receives a Beckman Technology Resource Center (TRC) Innovation Grant to support their research activities conducted through the Center's TRCs.
The forum's goal is to build a stronger intellectual community among faculty, rooted in curiosity and the recognition that great ideas often emerge at the intersection of disciplines. Over time, it aims to catalyze new interdisciplinary partnerships and a deeper shared understanding of the science happening across Beckman, leaving faculty, whether presenting or attending, with new perspectives and connections.
