Lucy O’Brien, Ph.D., and Jon Mulholland Receive $600,000 NIH Grant for New Microscope

Lucy O’Brien, Ph.D., associate professor of molecular and cellular physiology, and Jon Mulholland, director of the Cell Sciences Imaging Facility (CSIF), received a $600,000 National Institutes of Health S10 Shared Instrumentation Grant for a new Leica STELLARIS 8 DIVE microscope. The total cost of the microscope is $838,708.11; the balance will be covered by Beckman Foundation funds. The microscope will be housed in the CSIF, and will be available for general use starting February 2023.
