Welcome to the Baumer Lab

Pediatric Neurostimulation Laboratory

Within the Department of Neurology at Stanford University, Fiona Baumer's lab aims to better understand the relationship between various forms of pediatric epilepsy, cognition and learning. We specifically research benign rolandic epilepsy (BECTs) and childhood absence epilepsy (CAE). We hope to better understand how differences in brain excitation, plasticity and connectivity relate to difficulty with language, attention and learning in these conditions.
