Welcome to the Batsuli Lab!
Our Mission
The mission of the Batsuli Lab is to understand the underlying factors and mechanisms that mediate the immune response to critical coagulation proteins factor VIII and factor IX that are necessary to prevent and treat bleeding episodes in individuals with hemophilia. The ultimate goal of the lab is to use the knowledge gained from these studies to aid the development of novel therapies and strategies that promote factor tolerance and restore the hemostatic efficacy of factor replacement. The Batsuli Lab strives to be a collaborative and innovative group that prioritizes multidisciplinary team science. We welcome scientists and learners at all stages of training who are interested in and committed to advancing scientific knowledge in bleeding disorders to improve patient outcomes.
