About Poll Everywhere

Stanford Medicine supports Poll Everywhere as our cloud-based polling system. Learners use their personal devices (phones, laptops, tablets,) to respond to the polls. No additional hardware is required.  Start by creating your Poll Everywhere account by visiting pollev.stanford.edu and logging in with your SUNet. Then, visit polleverywhere.com/videos for tutorials on getting started. For additional support and training, submit a help ticket and a team member will be in touch.

For events where participants might not have access to their own devices, Stanford Medicine AV Tech maintains a supply of Turning Point polling devices that are available for reservation through Medscheduler. There are up to 180 hand-held "clickers" that can be used in LK005, LK101, LK102, LK120, LK130 and in Alway M114, M112, and M106.

For other spaces or for use outside M-F from 7pm to 6pm, the Lane Library has a set of polling devices available for 24 hour checkout. The set comes with a USB polling receiver, a hand-held polling receiver, 20 polling devices, and instructions and software, all packaged together in a convenient carrying case. Reservations for the Lane Library polling devices can be made by emailing lanecirculation@lists.stanford.edu or calling the service desk at 650-723-6831.
