How To Use STAP Funds for Training and Professional Development

The Staff Training Assistance Program (STAP) provides reimbursement for training activities either related directly to your job or a career development effort undertaken with approval of your supervisor. STAP funds are available to all regular staff working 50% time or more, and can cover the costs of registration fees, and required textbooks related to approved courses. All STAP requests must be aprroved by your supervisor. The reimbursement maximum is $800 per fiscal year. Please contact the Training and Organization Development Department in Campus Human Resources at 723-0657 if you have questions.

The Staff Tuition Reimbursement Program (STRP) supports employee development by providing partial reimbursement of tuition costs when you're admitted to a degree program (undergraduate or graduate program).
