As our SASI alumni, students who have completed one of our Stanford summer programs, your connection to our academic program at Stanford remains essential after you leave The Farm. Your passion for the health sciences and potential as future leaders in health care enable you to serve as important resources for our current and future students. There are several ways to remain involved with SASI and stay connected to our Stanford program:

Write for The Mentor

We are looking for our student alumni to write stories for our newsletter, The Mentor. If you have an update about your career journey, wisdom to share about an important career milestone, or a you have important news to share about other students in our program please contact us.

Become a SASI Ambassador

Many current students and potential future SASI students would appreciate a penpal or peer-mentor to ask questions about how to get the most out of their SASI experience. Would you be willing to connect with a SASI student or potential student and share tips and wisdom from your summer experience so they can flourish at Stanford? We are seeking SASI alumni interested in volunteering in our 2020 Stanford SASI Ambassador program.

Return for our Alumni Day

Each year we invite select Alumni from our prior program years to return to campus for Alumni Day. This is a chance for you to meet our current students in a social setting in a formal program activity and share updates about your current life and reflect on how SASI has helped shape your educational journey. If you are an alumni of our Stanford SASI program and have interest in participating in this educational activity, please contact us.

Join our Stanford SASI Global Interest Group

Our progam couldn't flourish without the diverse perspectives that each of our students bring. We are fortunate to have students from over 26 states and 14 countries represented in our student body. We want to expand the geographical diversity of our students, both nationally and internationally. If you are one of our students who has attended our program from outside of California, we are expecially interested in your help in building a group to expand interest in Global Health issues at SASI and engage students from around the world in our SASI programs.
