Virtual Clinical Anatomy Summer Program (Virtual CASP)

The Virtual Clinical Anatomy Summer Program (Virtual CASP) at Stanford University is for high school students considering careers in medical and health-related fields, such as medicine, surgery, dentistry, EMT/paramedics, nursing, biomedical engineering, occupational therapy, physical therapy, sports medicine, and medical education. 

This virtual, week-long course will introduce students to the anatomy of the human body. Students will attend lectures given by Stanford Medicine faculty, engage in virtual anatomy demonstrations, and explore how VR technology is used to teach and learn anatomy. 

Program date: June 12-16, 2023

Virtual CASP will be held June 12-16, 2023 from 9AM - 4PM PST. The program is entirely virtual and will be held via Zoom and VR platform. Students are welcome to apply to be part of the program from any geographical location, though please note sessions will be held live.

Program Fee: 

The Virtual CASP program fee is $3,000. Program fee includes Oculus Quest headset and program materials such as a beginner suture kit, stethoscope, and blood pressure cuff, which will be sent to students. At the time of registration, a $500 non-refundable tuition deposit will be due, with the remaining balance of $2,500 due at the enrollment deadline, May15th, 2023. The final date to register is April 15th, 2023. The tuition deposit and remaining tuition balance can be paid at the same time. 

*In the event of program cancellation by Stanford Clinical Anatomy, a full refund will be given. 

Age Requirement

Please note, students must be at least 14 years old at the start date of virtual CASP.
