Upper Limb Course

August 7-11, 2023
The 2023 Upper Limb Course hosted by Stanford Clinical Anatomy invites beginner students of anatomy to explore the upper limb through a comprehensive lecture series, cadaveric dissection labs, and virtual demonstration. Students will have the unique opportunity to be taught by Stanford School of Medicine faculty members and teaching assistants, and use Stanford's state of the art facilities. Lectures will focus on clinical correlates and the musculoskeletal system, with emphasis on joints and movements of the upper limb. Labs will feature in-depth dissections by students, with guidance from faculty, and demonstration of anatomy on pre-dissected specimen.
Upon registration, students will be sent an information packet detailing lab rules, and preparation recommended to be completed prior to the start of the course. For any questions related to the course, please email anatomy@stanford.edu.
- Course fee (non-refundable):
- Registration: $3000
- Clinical Anatomy reserves the right to cancel the workshop. If the workshop is canceled by the division, the course fee ONLY will be refunded to individuals. There will not be reimbursement for travel related expenses.
- Instructors: The course is led by Stanford faculty in the Division of Clinical Anatomy.
- Location: Classes will meet in the CCSR building on the Stanford University Medical Center campus in Palo Alto, CA. Detailed instructions and map will follow.
- Housing: This is a non-residential program. Participants must arrange for their own lodging and transportation.
