Student Outreach to Alumni Resources (SOAR) Dinner

Thank you to all that could join us at our revamped SOAR (Student Outreach to Alumni Resources) Dinner! Soar is a mentoring event for PhD students who are exploring different industries and career options.  The event was designed to help students narrow their focus by providing an informational venue to meet alumni, who have practiced or conducted research in a specific area/sector, current postdocs, and faculty representing a variety of industries. Students had the opportunity to engage in conversation at the opening reception, three different tables during the course of the dinner and as well as an informal dessert reception.
