Beyond the Farm - Recycle for Sight

Beyond the Farm Alumni Day of Service is an opportunity to connect with fellow Stanford alumni, friends, and family while volunteering with a local community organization. Beyond the Farm seeks to bring Stanford's spirit of service to communities around the world, and we hope that these efforts will inspire ongoing volunteerism in your community.

This year the Stanford Medicine Alumni Association has partnered with the Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired for their Recycle for Sight program. Volunteers will help clean, sort, verify, measure, and package thousands of donated eyeglasses to be provided to countries overseas and veteran, homeless, and low-income clients within the San Francisco Bay area. We hope that you'll be able to join us for this amazing volunteer project!

**Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Children 10 and above welcome. Light breakfast and lunch provided.**
