with Dr. Alex Eggel
You're invited to attend special presentation Novel Approaches for the Inhibition of Allergic Effector Cells with Alex Eggel, MD, Department of Rheumatology, Immunology and Allergology at the University Hospital Bern, Switzerland
Speaker
Alex Eggel, MD, Department of Rheumatology, Immunology and Allergology at the University Hospital Bern, Switzerland
Dr. Eggel is a young investigator at the Department of Rheumatology, Immunology and Allergology at the University Hospital Bern in Switzerland. His major research interests focus on the biologic mechanisms underlying both beneficial, as well as, pathogenic type 2 immune responses. Dr. Eggel and his team are trying to get a better understanding on how allergies evolve in order to develop alternative treatment approaches directly interfering with the allergic cascade. In addition, the group investigates the development of age-related disorders and how they are linked to alterations in type 2 immune responses.
