Spine Artificial Intelligence Laboratory
The Stanford Spine Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, led by Dr. Atman Desai, MD, advances the science of spine care through artificial intelligence, computational imaging, digital surgery, and data-driven clinical research. Our work spans predictive analytics, spinal oncology, deformity and reconstruction, and real-world functional assessment. We collaborate closely with the Stanford Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging (AIMI), the Departments of Neurosurgery, Radiology, and Orthopedics, and partners across engineering, computer science, and oncology.
