March 2026 | Our paper on supporting cell regeneration is finally out! It reveals that the mammalian cochlea uses endogenous progenitor cells to regenerate glia-like supporting cells in 2 distinct pathways. Congrats to the team led by Julia Abitbol!

February 2026 | Dr. Tracy Cheng was awarded a travel grant to present at this year's Association for Research in Otolaryngology MidWinter meeting. Recently, she was also awarded an American Hearing and Research Foundation grant with her proposal titled, "Mammalian Hair Cell Regeneration in Two Clinical Models of Human Hearing Loss."
