Cafeteria:
The Market Square Cafeteria, located in front of the Emergency Department in the Main Center, is open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Discount meal cards may be purchased from the Department of Nutrition and Food Services, 723-6904. Vending machines in back of the cafeteria, by the Emergency Department, and in the "Brown Bag" room (on the ground floor across from the escalator), are always accessible. Food service also is available in the Operating Room for surgeons between cases. The Market Express - Snack bar expresso - Mrs. Fields is located near emergency room is available for coffee drinks, cookies, soups and sandwiches, and is open from 12:00 midnight until 7 p.m.
Hospital Visiting Hours
Visiting hours on most units are 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., though there are some exceptions depending on patient needs and treatment schedules. To confirm visiting hours for a specific patient, call 650-723-4000. You will need to know the patient's full name when you call for the operator to release information. More information...
