Scheduling and Requests

We ask that investigators request service after transgene or targeting vector construction is complete. To make a request the user needs to fill out and submit a Service Requisition Form on-line, and arrange a meeting with Dr. Yanru Chen-Tsai in person for any questions or just simply drop off their DNA in our lab located in CCSR #1210.

You are welcome to contact us and check our schedule before you start your DNA construction or ES clone screening. This will allow you to plan your experiments more efficiently.

Procedures will be done in the order that requests are received. Investigators will be given approximate dates for ES cell electroporation or microinjection when they make a request and more precise dates when they are close to the top of the list.

It must be considered that procedures on certain days may fail due to insufficient number of ES cells, embryos, pseudopregnant recipient mothers available or due to some technical problems. In these cases, an additional day of injection will be scheduled which would move other scheduled procedures back one session.
