The Sustainability Steering Committee began meeting in June, 2008, to find ways to support Sustainability in the School of Medicine.
Charter
The Sustainability Steering Committee is committed to catalyzing sustainability in the School of Medicine, through:
- Engaging all employees by implementing “Green Teams” concept and providing sustainability resources
- Promoting a culture of individual responsibility for sustainability
- Discovering, communicating, leveraging, and celebrating successful sustainability efforts around the school and elsewhere
- Consolidating, prioritizing, and advocating for actions that will improve our practice of sustainability
