We are pleased to be able to provide trained Massage Therapists to patients and family members. For patients, the massage therapists will go to their bedside and give comfort massages based on the needs of the patient. Family members and/or staff can go to designated areas in the hospital for a relaxing fifteen minute chair massage.

- We accept credit card, gift certificates and checks (Please make checks payable to Stanford Hospital & Clinics). NO CASH ACCEPTED.

In-Bed Massage for Patients
In-bed massage is available to any patient on request by patient, family, staff or physician regardless of the type and severity of their condition. Frequent benefits of massage include releasing muscle tension, promoting relaxation, helping to alleviate pain and promoting rest and sleep.
- $30.00 for 30 minutes
Massage Therapy Schedule - By Appointment
Please call Guest Services at (650) 498-3333 for your in-patient massage request. In-patient massages can be scheduled:
- Monday through Friday (10 am - 6 pm)
- Saturday and Sunday (afternoon and evenings only)
The Stanford Center for Integrative Medicine can arrange massage therapy sessions for outpatients at their clinic rate.
Chair Massage for Guests and Staff
Chair massage is available to guests and staff in the E3 waiting area on the 3rd floor, at the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in the Stanford Cancer Center, and at the Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center in Redwood City (RWC). The address is 450 Broadway Street, Redwood City, CA 94063. Hours are listed below.
