PAFD Hazardous Materials Inspection

The Palo Alto Fire Department will be conducting a hazardous materials inspection on 2/13, 2/19 or 2/20 in the Alway, Lane, Edwards, Falk (CVRB), 701B Welch, 800 Welch, and 801 Welch buildings.

  > Please be prepared to be inspected on ANY of the dates

  > PAFD is looking carefully at chemical storage and segregation of incompatible materials.

  > Check flammable and corrosive cabinets and areas where you are storing flammables. Place corrosives and oxidizers in separate cabinets or storage locations.

  > Make sure that the cabinet is appropriately labeled; i.e. blue corrosive cabinet is used for corrosive storage and yellow flam cabinets have ONLY flammable liquids.

The new emergency binders and database are now ready!
Department / Division Emergency Coordinators are invited to attend any of our 1-hour training sessions to learn how to transfer information from your current plans and gain training on the new web interface.

The School of Medicine's Emergency Satellite Operations Center (SOC) is now located in MSOB X-169.
