VERIFY & UPDATE TRAINING RECORDS
- Read the memo on Shipping Biological Materials: Training Requirements - Complete training if required.
- What Kind of Training Do I Need? - Start by downloading and completing the Training Questionnaire forms from the Stanford EHS Website (There are three separate forms).
Check individual training records through the Stanford Axess Website. All Stanford faculty, staff and students can view their own training records.
- Log into Axess at http://axess.stanford.edu
- Click on the Login button in the "Personal Login area
- Enter your SUNet ID and Password
- Click on the training tab at the top of the page
- Click the blue "All Learning" link
- Complete any missing training. Information on How to Register for training courses through STARS is available on the University EHS Website.
- At this time the University is reviewing the STARS record management system. We highly recommend users and their departments maintain training records. Work with your PI/supervisor, Lab Manager/Lab Safety Contact, and/or Department Safety Contact for specific guidance on maintaining training records.
- NEW: School of Medicine's Health and Safety Message Board - New information such as "Updates on Training Requirements" and other announcements are posted. Bookmark the blog site in your browser or set up an RSS feed to the page.
- Contact the School of Medicine's Health and Safety Programs office or your Compliance Assistance Program (CAP) team member for additional information about the Self-Inspection process.
- The University EHS office has created a poster with Required Training for Laboratory Works. If you are having problems accessing A COURSE IN STARS, review the FAQ provided by the University EHS office.
