School of Medicine's Emergency Hotline Message
Today is Thursday, November 2nd, approximately 60 hours after a magnitude 5.6 earthquake hit the Bay Area. Please remember to check the School hotline (723-7233) during such events.
Although no damage was reported to any School buildings, equipment or utilities, now would be a good time to review your emergency plans: those for your department, lab or work area as well as those for your home and family.
Please review and post the emergency prep reminder; additional information on preparing for an emergency is available on our website.
Paraphrasing the immortal words of Red Barber, “You have to be as fully prepared for the small one as you are for the big one, or else you won't be really prepared for the big one.”
