School of Medicine's Emergency Hotline Message

Today is Thursday, November 1st, approximately 36 hours after a magnitude 5.6 earthquake hit the Bay Area.  Please remember to check the School hotline (723-7233) during such events.

Although no damage was reported to any School buildings, equipment or utilities, now would be a good time to review your emergency plans: those for your department, lab or work area as well as those for your home and family.

Please review and post the emergency prep reminder; additional information on preparing for an emergency is available on our website.

Remember, the more you are prepared; the less scary things will be, even on the day after Halloween.
