Asian Pacific-American Medical Student Association (APAMSA)

Description

APAMSA is the nation’s only organization specifically representing East, Southeast, and South Asian and Pacific Islander-American medical students. Stanford’s APAMSA chapter works to directly promote the health and well-being of the APA community by collaborating with faculty members, hosting community health outreach events, raising awareness about APA healthcare issues, organizing annual speaker events on topics related to APA health, and building community at Stanford Medicine. We also aim to bring together those who are passionate about health issues affecting the Asian-Pacific American (APA) community to develop a strong collective, public, and political voice. We provide an important forum for APA students to meet, mentor, and exchange information and experiences that are critical for developing personally and professionally.
