Description:

Not only will this workshop prepare you for the “clean-up” day, but also for making the move more efficient, and your work in the new environment more productive.

We will cover a specific methodology for going through your existing workspace and purging old files as well as organizing current files. We will review your existing filing structure, and apply three important organizational concepts to help you enhance it, and make filing and finding information faster and easier, as well as eliminate redundancies.

In addition, we will use the ToolsMap™ exercise (an innovative approach to organization) to help you examine the layout of your current and new workspaces, and identify how to best organize your desk and filing area for convenience and increased productivity.

Finally, we will look into effective techniques for managing and organizing your e-mail, your electronic documents, your calendar, and your to-do lists. These techniques will help you better track your action items, optimize your workflow and your schedule, and therefore minimize the back-and-forth trips to campus.

As a result, you will be able to start fresh in the new location, operate efficiently, and communicate more effectively with your colleagues on campus, while experiencing a boost in your productivity.
