Banner Graphics
Description
At the top of your main.html and all subpages, you will place your own banner graphic. At a minimum it should include your group's name, but can also contain basic contact information (e.g. email and phone number) and if you'd like a image or two. It's not unusual to include "Stanford University School of Medicine in small text, or the name of a larger parent group, i.e. the department a division is within. We recommend that it be no more than 500 pixels wide.
You can create your own banner graphic if you have Photoshop or a similar image editing program. There is a photoshop template file banner_starter.psd in the template set, with text you can easily edit with your department's information. You can also request a banner graphic from IRT Web Help. Make sure to specify the exact wording you want, and which phrases should be emphasized. Include any electronic art you want included, otherwise we'll wing it.
