Pamela Stoddard, PhD

Director, Public Health Research at the Center for Population Health Improvement in the Santa Clara Valley Health and Hospital System and the Santa Clara County Public Health Department

Pamela Stoddard is currently the Director of Public Health Research at the Center for Population Health Improvement in the Santa Clara Valley Health and Hospital System and the Santa Clara County Public Health Department. In this role, she directs research focused on the utilization of multiple safety net services by vulnerable populations across the Health and Hospital System. Previously, she was the Senior Epidemiologist at the Santa Clara County Public Health Department, where she had lead responsibility for surveillance and research activities. She completed her Ph.D. in Public Health at the University of California, Los Angeles and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies in the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.
