Moulaged to Go
|
|
These volunteers from among a group of about 20 Silicon Graphics employees were brought to SHS' Emergency Department April 16 to pose as victims of a simulated 7.1 earthquake. The realistically made up, or "moulaged," victims were intended to test the ability of Stanford to handle the influx of patients after a disaster. About 55 area health and safety agencies participated in the drill, which was sponsored by the Santa Clara County Emergency Managers Association. |
