As part of a complex move to add surgical intensive care beds, the urology/plastic surgery/thoracic/ENT inpatient unit was moved Feb. 13 from E-3 to C-2. It was followed with a staff-requested blessing. Joining staff on the unit and officiating at a brief interdenominational ceremony were RomanCatholic Chaplain Father John Hester (far right) and chaplain resident Nayan McNeill (standing next to Hester). Hospital troubadour Homero Oyarce (with guitar), and then received a friendly hug (above) from Jewish chaplain Bruce Feldstein, a former emergency physician.
