Home Care Services to Operate Separately
After a review by senior administrators, UCSF Stanford has decided to operate separate Home Care Services after the merger dissolves, rather than to create a joint venture, the administration announced in February. The service was the remaining department exploring the possibility of retaining joint operations. Home Care Services will continue to operate under its current management team until UCSF and Stanford decide how the operations will be managed separately, the organization announced. Home Care provides services to patients who are returning home from the hospital to recover or who are being treated for chronic diseases at home as well as home pharmacy and hospice services.
