IF IT'S CLEAN, IT GOES IN GREEN

Clean items, including medications and supplies, are now being transported through the SHS pneumatic tube system in green bags, saving the red biohazard bags for their intended use.
Leander Robinson, coordinator of the tube system, said appropriate green and red bags are available on units through supply. The change was implemented in June to avoid health and safety issues, including cross-contamination. To remember the change, employees have created a slogan: "If it needs packaging and it's clean, it goes in green." For further information, contact Robinson at (415) 725-8114. |
