| Dr. Berquist obtained his medical degree from Northwestern University,
and completed training in pediatric gastroenterology at UCLA, where he served
for a period of time as a member of the faculty. He subsequently joined
Dr. Cox as the second pediatric hepatologist in the Liver Transplant Program
at California Pacific Medical Center. He was recently appointed Medical
Director of the Pediatric Liver Transplant Program. In addition to being
involved in the care of patients with liver problems, Dr. Berquist also
has an interest in patients with problems with nutrition, and is also an
active endoscopist. |
