Stanford LifeFlight Helicopter Details

The Life Flight program at Stanford was begun in 1984, flying an Alouette helicopter with a pilot, nurse and physician team. The team has evolved to 2 RNs and the pilot. We now fly in a custom-configured BK 117 that can fly under both visual and instrument flight rules.
