Visual gene identification to a protein atlas

Joakim Lundeberg

The DNA sequencing of complete genomes have revolutionized biological and biomedical sciences. For the first time complete genomic sequences are available as a blueprint of life and as a basis for further studies. This presentation focus on two areas of post genome sequence. The first topic focuses on the efforts to develop new assays that facilitate simple analysis of gene sequence variation. The second topic covers gene expression including the large efforts to develop a human protein atlas of our genes.
