Join us for an afternoon exploring the intersections between the arts and medicine. Audrey Shafer will provide an overview of cross-disciplinary work at Stanford and situate it in the broader context of health humanities. Hans Steiner analyzes the work and life of Rene Magritte in terms of psychological experiences of the artist. Janice Ross explores the life and work of Anna Halprin and Ann Carlson performs a live preview of her work "The Symphonic Body/Medicine." Free and open to the public. No reservations. Seating is limited. First come, first served.
