ITI Working Group on Chronic Infection: CyTOF Training and Reagents and special talk: "Structural Modularity in Molecular Design of Targeted Vaccines"

Higher-order structural modularity provides the essential framework of subunits in the overall presentation of the consequent conformation of complex macromolecules. In this presentation, the multivalence of an oral DNA vaccine will be exemplified as platform technology for targeted vaccine design. Similarly, the protein domains of an HIV Env immunogen will also be demonstrated, as its tertiary modular units can direct the complex quaternary organizations of defined metastable conformations in discrete states.
