Program Goals

The vision of our Education and Training team is to be a leader in local, national, and international clinical research education. Education is a key element to achieving SCCR’s mission to promote high-impact, global-reaching clinical research for the improvement of human health.

Supporting our culture of collaboration at Stanford, we partner with Stanford's world-renowned scientists, clinical researchers, and medical specialists, to provide specified training in any therapeutic area of interest. We work with each group to create a tailored program designed to fit your needs for both on and off-site training.

Our concentration is on personalized education seminars regarding all aspects of clinical research as well as scientific training. SCCR focuses on education for both internal clinical research stakeholders across the School of Medicine as well as education for collaborators outside of Stanford.

  • Develop the best-trained workforce in clinical research
  • Provide contemporary and quality education for key personnel of the clinical research team
  • Provide clinical education in a variety of therapeutic areas to collaborators external to Stanford

Collaborations

SCCR collaborates closely with Spectrum, The Stanford Center for Clinical and Translational Research and Education, to design, implement, and deliver the Clinical Research Operations Program. This program offers classes to any member of the Stanford research community involved in human subjects research. Additional information about this program can be found here.
