Program
The Stanford School of Medicine and Spectrum - the Stanford Center for Clinical and Translational Education and Research - are soliciting proposals for grants for pilot projects that have the objective of translating technology into novel medtech, biopharma, or diagnostic
products.
The funding for the pilot projects is made possible via Stanford's NIH CTSA grant.
Special consideration will be given to projects that address unmet medical needs and are less likely to be developed by industry. Some examples would include devices or drugs for orphan indications (prevalence <200,000 in the US), or for diseases or health delivery issues unique to
less developed countries.
